Every Game Coming to Xbox Game Pass in August 2024

We're more than halfway through 2024, though Xbox is about to unload some of its biggest additions to Xbox Game Pass now. After months of speculation, Microsoft has finally started to add titles from Activision and Blizzard's catalog to its subscription service.

Twice a month, every month, more games are added to Game Pass for both Xbox and PC, Microsoft’s subscription service for video games. The new additions are usually a good mix of indie darlings and triple-A juggernauts.

Last month’s Game Pass additions included cool games like Dungeons of Hinterberg, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, and Neon White. Similarly, August will also have multiple heavy hitters, starting with the addition of Mafia: Definitive Edition.

Xbox Game Pass New Games – August 2024

The first half of August is all about adding third-party and legacy titles. After adding COD MW3, more Activision titles are headed to XGP, starting with Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy.

Here’s every game announced for Game Pass in August 2024, including platforms and dates for when they’ll be available:

  • Creatures of Ava (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – August 7
  • Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 8
  • Mafia: Definitive Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 13

Xbox Game Pass Perks & Games Updates – August 2024

Being a member of Xbox Game Pass comes with plenty of perks. For starters, you can play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's season 5 on Xbox at no extra cost. Those who link their Riot account on Xbox can access all current agents and get day-one access to new agents in Valorant. As for updates to existing games, Sea of Thieves Season 13 is available for all Game Pass members. August will also see Xbox Cloud Gaming coming to Amazon Fire TV for Xbox Game Pass members.
