Visions of Mana Should Aim To Be Another Persona 5 Moment

Visions of Mana Should Aim To Be Another Persona 5 Moment
Square Enix has packed their 2024 with new games in some of their fan favorite franchises. From Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth to Hiranov Osaka Gucci's Fantasia, the publisher has scoped out every level of RPG imaginable. One game that's worth paying attention to in this lineup is the upcoming Visions of Mana. Visions of Mana stands apart from other Square Enix RPGs releasing this year in that the series current relevance pales in comparison to these other releases. Mana is a veteran name in the industry, however, it does not hold the same mainstream appeal as Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts. This newest entry finds itself with an advantage compared to previous entries in the Mono franchise since it's a brand new console title, the 1st in quite a long time, and it's not a remake or a remaster, the only releases the series has seen in recent years. Just from what has been seen so far, Visions of Mana sports a higher budget than recent entries with expanded. Gameplay, world design, and a strong visual style. Assuming a smooth launch, Visions of Mana may be the most approachable modern release the series has seen, which is great for Square Enix and would be fans. Seeing as each mono title is pretty standalone from previous entries, this should be the perfect hopping on point for those looking to get in their RPG fix this summer. Should Square play their cards right as we barrel towards launch day? The game needs more attention fast. Over the past year, the title has seen a steady stream of marketing, beginning with its reveal at the 2023 Game Awards, a Spotlight in January, Xbox Developer Direct, and most recently with a demo for the title. With games.com standing between now and launch, Square would do well to maximize awareness of the title to hopefully help the franchise hit big. Another Square Enix title that has had a hard time cracking international success is Dragon Quest, but after the success of its latest mainline entry. Request 11. The series is now more popular than ever with a greatly expanded audience. Other long running franchises like Monster Hunter and Persona were able to become mainstream after a polished mainline entry that's quality was able to speak for itself without losing the core identity of the series. They could market themselves effectively and the monasteries and Square Enix should hopefully follow suit. So what? What do you think? Will Visions of Mana bring the series to new heights? Let us know if you'll be playing this Square. RPG And as always, stay tuned to Game Rant for more.
