Mortal Kombat One is almost been out for a year now, and since its release it has regularly added new content for players to enjoy. Booyah. But with the first batch of DLC over, it looks like we're finally about to get more news on what we can expect for this game in its second year. The latest update for Mortal Kombat 1 gave us Takeda Takahashi as a new DLC fighter and Farrah as a new cameo fighter, as well as bug fixes and quality of life improvements. With all these additions, fans are eager to hear what else is in store for the game, and it turns out we're going to find out real soon. Ed Boone, Vice President and Creative Director at Nether Realm, confirmed that they will reveal an additional storyline, new fighters, and. Quote big surprises. During their panel at San Diego Comic Con, Leakes suggested that the game would get an expansion this September with A5 chapter story starring Cyrax Sector and Noob Saibot. However, the studio hasn't confirmed anything. Either way, we are very excited for what this entails. Mortal Kombat 11's Aftermath DLC added a lot to the story, so we're curious to see how the studio will expand on Mortal Kombat's one narrative going forward.
