A dedicated Diablo 4 player has revealed they have already hit the maximum level of the Mother's Gift Reputation. With the end of the highly praised fourth season of Diablo 4, this week players welcomed a new one. Named Season of the Infernal Hordes, Blizzard brought new content, adjustments, items, and exciting activities for Diablo 4 players.

Some of the most notable new content in Season 5 is "The Eyes of the Enemy," the new Eternal questline, and "Of Lambs and Wolves", Diablo 4's first seasonal quest. By finishing the latter, all players will unlock the Mother's Gift, a new system for progress not only through the quests but also through the 20 tiers of rewards available in Season 5. One Diablo 4 player surprised their fellow players by sharing two surprising facts related to this new system.

Diablo 4 Season 5's Theme is a Double-Edged Sword

Diablo 4 Season 5 bringing the Infernal Hordes to Sanctuary ahead of Vessel of Hatred is exciting, but the nature of this season has its drawbacks.

Just two days into Diablo 4 Season 5, Reddit user MaxHardwood revealed they had already reached the last tier of the Mother's Gift. But they surprised the Diablo 4community again by showing that even after reaching tier 20, players can continue to receive a Triune War Chest for every 24,000 Mother's Gift Reputation they earn. The Triune War Chest is a legendary ancestral cache, and according to its caption, it promises Diablo 4 players "powerful items and rare crafting materials."

Mother's Gift Reputation is One of the New Diablo 4 Features in Season 5

To obtain Mother's Gift Reputation and progress through the seasonal missions and questlines of Diablo 4's fifth season, players have different options. It is possible to obtain the Mother's Gift Reputation by defeating enemies such as Elites, Hellborn, Champions, and bosses anywhere in the Sanctuary, whether in the Helltides or Diablo 4's Infernal Hordes. Among the rewards of the 20 tiers are class-based Uniques and the Resplendent Spark, the last-tier reward, which is an item used to craft a Mythic Unique.

While the fourth season of Diablo 4 was praised for doing a 180 on Blizzard's RPG, the current season also seems to have won the hearts of players. Some Diablo 4 players have gone further, naming Season of the Infernal Hordes "the best thing to ever happen to the game." Reasons include changes like making it easier to summon bosses again, without having to reset the dungeon. Another cause for celebration is the chances of dropping Mythic Uniques more easily, giving Diablo 4players better chances of finally obtaining these coveted pieces of equipment.
