NewsWarthog Hilariously Wakes Sleeping Lions
A cheeky warthog appears to prank a pride of sleeping lions by waking them up and sprinting away leaving them baffled as to what just happened. Joker Pumbaa seemingly clocks the four lions a few feet away napping near a tree and initially thinks about walking quietly the other way before stopping in its tracks. It then chooses to head towards the lions, before darting right at them causing the startled pride to immediately wake up, just in time to see the warthog sprinting away into the distance. Safari guide Onne Vegter captured the hilarious moment in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, in South Africa. The rattled lions didn’t quite know what was going on, as, having jumped to attention when the warthog awoke them, they then just looked around confused, like anyone who had suddenly been woken up.
NewsNapping Regularly Linked To High Blood Pressure And Stroke
People who nap often have a greater chance of developing high blood pressure and having a stroke, according to a new study. Study participants who typically napped during the day were 12% more likely to develop high blood pressure. They were also 24% more likely to have a stroke compared with people who never napped. If the person was younger than 60 years old, napping most days raised the risk of developing high blood pressure by 20%. "Although taking a nap itself is not harmful, many people who take naps may do so because of poor sleep at night, which is associated with poorer health," Michael Grandner, director of the Behavioral Sleep Medicine Clinic in Arizona. Most of the people in the study who took regular naps smoked cigarettes, drank daily and had insomnia. Many of these factors could impact a person's quality and quantity of sleep. Poor sleep can cause excessive daytime fatigue, which can result in excessive napping during the day.

Nearly half of Americans plan to let their kids buy something from the local ice cream trucks during the summer. One in three say they see ice cream trucks more often now than when they were a kid. Only 52% of people believe they could tell the difference between dairy and non-dairy ice cream. while 46% are willing to add more non-dairy ice cream to their diets.
NewsHere Are 4 Tips From A Flight Attendant To Survive Traveling
Historically, summer is always a challenging time to fly. Here’s a flight attendant's advice on traveling based on 20 years of working at 30,000 feet. The key this summer is to travel smart. Take as much of the stress out of travel by planning ahead and being prepared, Kristie Koerbel, flight attendant. Always fly direct. That way if you are delayed, you don’t need to worry about making your next flight. If you can’t avoid connecting, don’t book the shortest layover. A one-hour layover is not enough anymore. In most cases, three hours is safe. Fly as early in the day as possible. The first flights of the day are rarely canceled. While that might mean a 6 a.m. flight, if your early flight does get canceled, there will be more options to rebook. Download the app of the airline you are flying with. These apps have valuable information. You can track your bag, your incoming plane, whether a flight is canceled, and - if needed - how to rebook a new flight. Bring a sweater. Here's a flight attendant secret: The plane is cold on purpose. For people who struggle with airsickness, heat makes it worse, Kristie Koerbel, flight attendant. If you don't want to start your holiday with a cold, bring a sweater.
