Delhi, India - November 04, 2024 In a tense incident in northern India's Delhi, stones were hurled at a Hindu temple, escalating conflicts among community members. The incident took place in Jahangirpuri area of North West Delhi district on November 4. Visuals showed miscreants hurling stones from outside the temple, prompting those inside to retaliate by throwing stones back. The people appeared visibly distressed, and the scene unfolded chaotically and menacingly. According to reports, the incident took place around 5:30 PM. When the Delhi Police arrived at the scene, they found two individuals injured amidst the chaos. Authorities have since launched an investigation into the cause of the altercation, reviewing CCTV footage to identify the initial aggressors. Efforts were made to restore order as tensions ran high in the area, with locals expressing concern over the unfolding violence.
