Medical spray recalled from Chemist Warehouse, pharmacies Hundreds of products are recalled every year in Australia. Here's what you should do if you have purchased a recalled product.

A recall has been issued for batches of an anti-snoring throat spray sold at pharmacies throughout Australia.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission says the 25g Puranox spray does not comply with mandatory labelling standards.

They will not be able to check the ingredients list to identify the possible cause and seek treatment, the consumer watchdog warns.

The ACCC urges customers to immediately cease using the product immediately.

The affected Puranox sprays were sold between March 11 and June 3 this year at Chemist Warehouse, Terry White Chemist, Priceline, and other pharmacies.

They can be identified by the batch number 401, the use-by date of December 31 and barcode number 9319598411015.

Anyone seeking a refund should email Actor Pharmaceuticals providing a photo of the batch number.
