Albanese government ‘responsibly’ tackling cost of living
Treasurer Jim Chalmers says the Albanese government is “doing something” about the cost-of-living crisis Australians are facing.

“Every taxpayer gets a tax cut today,” he said.
“We’re doing something about it with this cost-of-living relief, which is substantial and meaningful, but also responsible.”
