Tesla opens another Australian repair shop to fix dings

A second Tesla body repair centre has opened in Australia, giving Queensland-based owners in need of a fix access to factory expertise.

The new collision repair centre has opened up in Brisbane after the first launched in Sydney earlier this year, while another is likely to arrive in Melbourne soon.

Located in Eagle Farm near Brisbane Airport, the body repair centre specialises in paint and panel works, fixing vehicles that have sustained accident damage.

Tesla Australia and New Zealand announced the opening on social media, posting an image of the workshop and staff on X.

Also shown is the paint repair section of the centre, including a spray booth, paint mixing bay and two preparation bays.

Tesla owners were traditionally required to take their cars to external Tesla-Approved body shops with no direct link to the US electric car company.

Both the Brisbane and Sydney repair centres are now taking bookings, with the latter located in the suburb of Alexandria. Job openings for a repair centre in Melbourne have also been advertised.

Tesla sold 46,116 vehicles in Australia last year, split between the Model 3 sedan and Model Y SUV, positioning it as the eighth best-selling brand Down Under.
