PM’s motives ‘should be questioned’ over Fatima Payman

Liberal MP Keith Wolahan says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s motives “should be questioned” as he responded “very late” to Labor Senator Fatima Payman’s actions.

Ms Payman has been indefinitely suspended from the party’s caucus.

“This is a matter for the Labor Party to sort out,” Mr Wolahan told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“The gauntlet has been thrown down for the Prime Minister.

“He has responded very late, and his motives really should be questioned.”
