Important to ‘respect’ Parliament House as ‘seat of our democracy’
Independent MP Zali Steggall discusses pro-Palestinian protesters that breached Parliament House security.
“I was thankful that the AFP dealt with it,” Ms Steggall told Sky News Australia.
“I appreciate the concern and the passion people protesting have around various issues … but I think it is also important to respect that Parliament House is the seat of our democracy and is an important building.”
