Australia not starting from a 'complete scratch’ on nuclear
Deputy Nationals leader Perin Davey says Australia is not starting from a "complete scratch” on nuclear.
According to the Newspoll, 42 per cent of Australians approve of the Coalition’s nuclear plan, while 45 per cent are against it.
13 per cent of voters are yet to form an opinion.
“We have a nuclear industry,” Ms Davey told Sky News Australia.
“We’ve got the Australian Nuclear Science Organisation.
“We’re not starting from a complete scratch.”
