'What a joke': Gal's problem with RTS sin bin
Told you I was gonna get you a little cranky. So Greg Menesley, head of football, the NRL today backing the Bunkers decision for the sin binning of Roger for the tackle. He says they want to eliminate lifting tackles completely. Watching it live, he admitted he didn't think there was much in it. But it wasn't until he says that it was slowed down for him that he could see how quickly he could go wrong. Slow that down and get a protractor at him and see if he went above the horizontal. Honestly what a joke. Like if if they want to stop lifting tackles, if he said those words we want to stop lifting tackles, then stop lifting tackles. Outlaw it now. Tell everyone right now you can no longer lift. If they want to outlaw the lifting tackle, tell people you can't lift. Don't penalize the bloke in the game for a tackle that shouldn't have been a penalty. Then send him for 10 minutes and then say three days later it's it should have been it's OK it's outlaw lifting tackle now. If you don't want blokes to lift blokes tell them. Tell the whole game they won't do it anymore. And since when do we penalize guys for what could go wrong? If it goes wrong, it goes wrong. What could go wrong shouldn't be penalized if it if it's hypothetical, why are we penalizing? I'm with gallonies. I think that was I didn't see a penalty there, let alone a Symphony. Does it go beyond the beyond the horizontal though? As I said, get a protractor out. It might have gone 1° if that, but he did not lead in a dangerous position. It was not dangerous. If you want to stop the lifting tackle, just stop it. Tell everyone now tell, tell us, tell the game, go and tell the coaches, Tell your players not to lift anymore and they probably won't lift anymore. They're not going to want to be penalised. They don't do it on purpose. Yeah, that, that's the problem with our game. Our rules are try to be one-size-fits-all, alright. It's got to be done on its merits. There was nothing wrong with that tackle whatsoever, Nothing wrong at all with that tackle. And to come out and say differently afterwards, it's just ridiculous. Bottom line is there was nothing wrong with that tackle at all. It was a good rugby league tackle. The Blogger got tackled. Would be complaining. That one was good crime. It was just ridiculous.
