Walsh inks richest deal in Broncos history
Reece Walsh has inked a long-term deal with Brisbane reportedly worth $5 million, the most lucrative in Broncos history, and is set to remain in the Queensland capital until the end of 2029.
The 22-year-old added four years to his current deal, which was set to expire at the end of the 2025 season.
It's a major coup for the Broncos early in Michael Maguire's reign as coach following Kevin Walters' sacking.

The Maroons fullback spent several weeks on the sidelines in 2024 after coping two heavy knocks to the head and a broken hand.
But he still crossed for 14 tries, and racked up 13 linebreaks and eight try assists, from 14 appearances.
"I've had a few conversations with Madge and hard work is one thing he touches on a lot," Walsh said.
"As a player you want to win and being a part of the Broncos that is expected.
"It's a massive club with amazing members and fans, and amazing people working at the club, as well ... so you're playing for more than just yourself.
"We didn't have the best year last year and we are all looking forward to getting back in and working really hard for each other and getting the Broncos back to where the club deserves to be.
"I can't wait to be around the boys again and get stuck into it together."
Walsh made his NRL debut at the Warriors, who he spent two seasons with before making the switch to the Broncos.
He revealed the new deal was always at the forefront of his mind as he wished to fulfil a childhood dream.
"I've wanted to play for the Broncos since I was a little kid, so I'm just really excited to be here and looking forward to getting into pre-season," he said.
"I want to be someone who works hard, someone who brings success, someone who helps bring premierships to this great club, but first of all I've got to be a good person off the field."
It had been speculated that if Walsh was to receive an extension with the club that it would be at the expense of either Kotoni Staggs or Selwyn Cobbo, who are both off contract at the end of 2025.
