Christina Hall's Go-to Tableware for Hosting Is Only $5
Maybe it's the calming heat or those coveted extra few hours of sunlight, but there's something about summer that alwaysmake us want to invite our friends and family over for a little al fresco get-together. After all, the patio furniture is out, the grill is turned up high, and the pool has been expertly prepped with cute floats and chaise lounges, so an outdoor soirée is inevitable.) But while every summertime chill session needs delicious, refreshing sips and bites, you can't discount your gathering's decor. For those of us who may need a little refresher on how to throw an outdoor bash, Christina Hall has all the answers. The HGTV star recently shared her go-to outdoor essentials in a livestream with Walmart, making it even easier to get your big backyard or patio party-ready.
"When you're setting up a party, it's so important that the whole vibe matches and that your guests feel comfortable when they're walking in. That they see you put the effort in to make everything elegant," Hall advises. With a mix of cocktail glasses, wine aerators, and tabletop staples, Hall's lineup stuck with a strict black and gold palette, but she says consistency is the whole point.
"A party has an aesthetic, and it should flow with your home and your style," she explains. "It should be beautiful, so they really tie together." And, just in case you needed any extra convincing, these picks are super affordable. Since the most expensive items on her livestream is a $79 knife set, it's possible to upgrade your entertaining game without breaking the bank. To help, we watched Hall's livestream and are sharing the best items worth adding to your cart.
