How to Watch Kevin Costner's New Movie, 'Horizon: An American Saga'
Horizon: An American Saga has been in the making for more than 30 years. It's Kevin Costner's passion project, one that he has helped finance out of his own pocket. The Academy Award winner stars in the movie, along with Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington, and Luke Wilson, and he also directed the epic movie.
Chapter one of the series, set to be four movies in total, is finally in theaters on June 28. Here's what you need to know before you buy your tickets.
How to Watch Horizon: An American Saga
The runtime for Horizon clocks in at more than 3 hours, so you'll want to have your popcorn ready. For now, there's only one way to watch the movie: At movie theaters. Check your local theater for showtimes and tickets, or head to Fandango to find a location near you.
And go ahead and mark your calendars now: Chapter 2 of the Horizon saga will be in theaters on August 16, so you'll want to plan accordingly to see both movies this summer.
When Will Horizon Be Available on Streaming?
Horizon is produced by Warner Bros., and the studio has a streaming deal with Max. We expect Horizon to be available for streaming on Max, but no date has been released. Movies are typically exclusive to theaters for 45 days before hitting streaming, which means the earliest the movie could possibly be available for streaming is August 12. But some movies are being held from streaming for longer periods.
The movie will likely be able to rent or buy before it goes to streaming, so you'll be able to watch from home on services like Prime Video or AppleTV+. Still, Warner Bros. has not given any dates for its availability. For now, your best bet is to head to the theaters.
