Cyberpunk 2077 Player Shows Why You Should Always Street Race As a Netrunner
  • Netrunner build in Cyberpunk 2077 makes street races a breeze with Self-Destruct Quickhack for guaranteed victory.
  • Cyberpunk 2077 offers players multiple playthrough options with various build types and restrictions for added challenge.

A Cyberpunk 2077player has shown off an awesome gameplay clip which shows why gamers should always play as a Netrunner if they're planning on completing the game’s street races. Cyberpunk 2077has improved a lot since its launch, and now lends itself well to multiple playthroughs, where players can change their approach and build.

With many different stats to upgrade and weapon types to collect, Cyberpunk 2077has a ton of different ways for players to craft their build. Some players try to build the most broken Cyberpunk 2077build possible, as these can often be the most fun. For others, this doesn't represent enough of a challenge, so they'll set restrictions on their playthrough to keep things interesting. There's no right or wrong approach here - it's a single-player game, and how each player has fun with it is totally subjective, especially when it comes to build types.

Cyberpunk 2077's Sequel Already Has an Obvious Quest Location if Setting Rumors are True

The sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 has the potential to bring players to some of the game's most enigmatic locations, including some that are beyond Earth.

Redditor TheDarkRam1996 shared the clip, which explains why the Netrunner build in Cyberpunk 2077 is perfect for any player wanting to participate in street races. Usually, players need to simply outrace their opponents to win. While these races aren't too difficult, one poorly-timed mistake can be the difference between winning and losing. However, as shown in this clip, Netrunner players are able to just blow up their opponents using the Self-Destruct Quickhack on the starting line. This is comically overpowered and makes each street race an absolute breeze. Some players might prefer doing the race the old-fashioned way, but there's an easy route to guaranteed victory for any Netrunner players out there.

Cyberpunk 2077 Player Provides Solid Street Race Advice

Players complete the street races in Cyberpunk 2077 alongside Claire Russell, in one of the game's most interesting side quests. Claire's intentions behind taking part in the street races remain hidden until players get a little further into the storyline, giving gamers more motivation to complete them. Playing as a Netrunner doesn't impact this at all, although it could definitely make the final race, where the objective is to kill another driver instead of winning, much easier.

Nowadays, Cyberpunk 2077is in a much better state than it was at release. Last year's release of the Phantom Libertyexpansion got players excited about the game all over again, with CD Projekt Red now beginning work on a sequel. Of the projects in development at the studio, it seems that The Witcher 4is the furthest along, taking up the majority of resources at CD Projekt Red, so any Cyberpunksequel is still likely a very long time away from release. In the meantime, gamers still have Cyberpunk 2077's version of Night City to explore in great detail.
