Euro 2024: Quarter-final fixtures, last-16 results, knockout schedule, group standings
The last match of the Euro 2024 quarter-finals will be decided today.
Romania face Netherlands in the last-16 before Austria play Turkey to wrap up what has been a rather tetchy, nervous start to the knockout stages.
England squeezed into the last eight by defeating Slovakia on Sunday, courtesy of a late Jude Bellingham strike before Harry Kane’s extra-time winner. They will play Switzerland after their comfortable win over a disappointing Italy side.
Portugal booked a match with France last night having been taken to penalties by plucky Slovenia and Les Bleus only avoided a similar route past Belgium thanks to a late own goal.
Spain have made themselves arguably the new favourites to win the Euros having strolled through a tough group before scoring four goals against Georgia in their last-16 tie. But hosts Germany awaits in the quarters after they knocked out Denmark in controversial circumstances.
The draw for the knockout stages is pre-determined, leaving the road to the final in Berlin clear for each team.
