Bills QB Josh Allen Sings, Dances at Dawson Knox Wedding: VIDEO
For the past five seasons, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and tight end Dawson Knox have forged a strong relationship. In addition to being teammates, Knox has been among Allen’s most reliable pass-catchers.
Accordingly, it came as no surprise that Allen was one of the Knox’s invited guests at his wedding to Alexandra Seefeldt on June 30 in Nashville.
Though they had announced their engagement six months earlier, Knox kept his wedding plans, as well as his guest list, as private as possible leading up to his day nuptials.
Still, a brief video of the wedding reception surfaced via social media — featuring Knox, Allen, Connor McGovern, Dion Dawkins, and a few other Bills players are signing and jumping to song “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers.
Despite being surrounded by health concerns over the past two seasons, Knox possesses the ability to be a significant factor in the Bills’ offense. The 27-year-old is at his best when he finds space sitting down in soft zones, as well as utilizing flat combinations. To help neutralize the middle of the field, opposing defenses have often (and mistakenly) attempt to take away Buffalo’s slot receivers underneath. This has routinely left Knox with some room to operate in some catch-and-run situations over the middle.
Unsurprisingly, those traits have made him one of Allen’s favorite targets
Still, just two years removed from setting a Buffalo franchise record for touchdowns in a single season by a tight end (9), the Ole Miss product finished last season with only 186 receiving yards on 22 catches, two of which went for scores. In addition to a wrist injury limiting him to 12 games, Knox was also unseated by then-rookie Dalton Kincaid for the top spot on the positional depth chart.
Knox will get the chance to redeem his recent struggles when the Bills open training camp on July 24.
