Fever's Caitlin Clark tops NBA stars with this amazing stat
Basketball fans are used to Caitlin Clark setting the standard in her first WNBA season. But she is also mastering part of her craft in a way that bests some of the best players in the NBA as well.
Hoops highlight hub Basketball Forever posted on the X platform this week that the Indiana Fever star has an average three-point shot distance of just over 28 feet.
As a marker for just how far that is, Basketball Forever revealed her average distance is further than that of NBA stars Trae Young, Damian Lillard and Steph Curry.
Clark has quickly made her make less than a season into her professional career. She leads all rookies in average points (17.9), three-point shots (2.8) and assists (8.3). Her assists are the most in the league regardless of experience, and she rounds out the top 10 in points-per-game leaders, via ESPN.
Additionally, Clark leads the Fever in points, assists and steals (1.4). Indiana is seventh in the WNBA standings heading into the final month of the regular season.
