Trump has a plan for Ukraine
If Donald Trump is re-elected as US president and if the war between Russia and Ukraine is still going on in 2025, he has a plan for Ukraine ready.
The plan from two of Trump's advisers is simple: if Ukraine wants to retain US support, it must participate in peace talks with Russia. If Russia refuses to negotiate peace, the US will give Ukraine more support.
The plan was outlined to Reuters news agency by advisor and former lieutenant general Keith Kellogg. According to Kellogg, Trump has not yet fully agreed to the plan, but responded "favourably".
So far, the US (and all other Western countries) have not imposed any conditions on the support it gives to Ukraine. With Trump as president, there would be conditions for President Zelensky.
