Putin's safety at risk?
ATESH, the Ukrainian resistance movement, has just made an important discovery. That discovery could boost the confidence of Zelensky's forces and even lead to a symbolic victory.
On Thursday, Ukrainian resistance fighters reported on their Telegram account that they had discovered the anti-aircraft system protecting the Russian president's second house. The house (one of many that Putin owns in Russia) is in Sochi, the Black Sea resort.
The ATESH group identified the location of a Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft system, 15 kilometres from Putin's luxurious residence. Telegram reports that this system is "designed to provide protection against air threats and missiles, includes anti-aircraft guns and a radar to detect and track air targets," according to L'Indépendant.
A discovery that Ukraine is raising as a trophy, a sign of a new provocation and… of a coming attack?
