Peking Duk are set to host a rave at hardware store Bunnings.

And the frontmen behind the Aussie electronic music duo, Reuben Styles and Adam Hyde, appeared on The Project on Friday to share some of the details.

The pair teased turning the party into a full music festival with various rooms with different themes.

'I mean, the sky's the limit. Could be a multi-room festival. The gardening centre where the ambient music is played' Adam said.

'The plants are the least dangerous thing to dance around in the whole venue' Reuben said with a laugh.

'The no-brainer to us feels like a car park, but then you kind of want all the tools and the plants there too' he added.

The pair have not yet shared which location the event will happen at, but Adam shared his preference for Alexandria Bunnings in Sydney.

'Alexandria Bunnings is beautiful' he quipped but said there were 'so many' options, including venues in Brisbane.

The iconic retail destination will host the country's first-ever 'Bunnings rave' at one of its massive warehouses in August following a sudden and viral TikTok campaign calling for a techno extravaganza at one of its locations.

The TikTok channel of Peking Duk led the charge, with the pair remixing Bunnings' famous TV advertisement jingle into a rave track and dancing along frenetically.

In a recent video posted to the channel, Peking Duk confirmed the rave was happening.

'The people have spoken and Bunnings have listened. We're doing this. Y'all made this happen. Oh my God, we're going to have a rave with Bunnings,' Reuben said.

'We still don't know where. So pick a spot, pick a state, pick a Bunnings, where do you want to do this party?

'Where are we going to do this? Let's party, let's rave.'

A Bunnings spokeswoman confirmed the rave would happen sometime in August.

'We have loved seeing all Aussie music lovers across the country share their enthusiasm for a Bunnings rave,' the spokeswoman said.

'So it comes with great excitement to confirm that together with Peking Duk, What So Not and Kaila, we've found a way to give the people what they want - the Bunnings Warehouse Party is happening late- August.

'More details to come soon. Watch this space.'

The wild TikTok campaign kicked off from 19-year-old music producer Kaila, who posted a video with the caption 'petition to host a massive rave in Bunnings Warehouse' and a remixed Bunnings dance track.

Peking Duk then followed with their own remix where the pair rave at a Bunnings store, in the aisles and on an escalator.
