Public Works director-general among 399 honoured at investiture ceremony in Melaka
MELAKA: Public Works Department (JKR) director-general Datuk Roslan Ismail heads the list of 399 recipients of honorary titles during the third session of the investiture ceremony held on Monday (Aug 26) in conjunction with the 75th birthday of the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Dr Mohd Ali Mohd Rustam.
Roslan and 11 others were awarded the Darjah Cemerlang Seri Melaka (DCSM), which carries the title "Datuk Wira".
The other recipients of DCSM were Selangor Agriculture Development Corporation group chief executive officer Dr Mohamad Khairil Mohamad Razi and Chairman of Penang Regional Development Authority (Perda) Datuk Dr Shaik Hussein Mydin.
Selangor executive councillor Datuk Borhan Aman Shah was awarded the Darjah Mulia Seri Melaka (DMSM), which carries the title "Datuk".
Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh attended the ceremony.
Press Secretary to the Energy Transition and Water Transformation Minister, Datuk Misiah Taib and Wanita MCA national chairman Datuk Wong You Fong were among 58 recipients of Darjah Pangkuan Seri Melaka (DPSM) which carries the title "Datuk".
Wong is also the Non-Independent and Non-Executive Director of Star Media Group Berhad.
Melaka Tengah OCPD Asst Comm Christopher Patit was among 24 Darjah Seri Melaka (DSM) recipients.
Throughout the three sessions of the investiture ceremony, which started on Sunday (Aug 25), 651 recipients were conferred various awards.
