Vice Ganda almost missed Billy Crawford and Coleen Garcia’s wedding due to depression
‘It’s Showtime’ host Vice Ganda recently disclosed that he nearly missed attending the wedding of his close friends Billy Crawford and Coleen Garcia because he was dealing with depression.
In a candid revelation on his vlog, Vice Ganda shared that seeing his friends get married one by one triggered a wave of sadness for him.
“Na-experience ko ‘yan dati nu’ng unti-unti na silang nagpapakasal — sila Karylle, sila Anne, sila Billy,” he said.
Although he was genuinely happy for his friends, he felt a deep sense of melancholy for himself, feeling as if he was being left behind.
Vice Ganda recounted how he sent Billy a text the day before the wedding, saying he couldn’t attend.
“Nagalit talaga siya. Nagalit siya. Tapos hanggang ang dami kong alibi, na wala na akong masasakyang eroplano,” he explained.
Despite his numerous alibis, Billy went out of his way to make sure Vice Ganda could get to Balesin for the wedding.
Billy Crawford and Coleen Garcia celebrated their wedding on April 20, 2018, at Balesin Island.
