Rabiya Mateo is just like the rest of us— a paying customer with no VIP treatment.

On her Instagram Stories, the former beauty queen denied allegations circulating online that she, as well as boyfriend Jeric Gonzales, obtained free tickets to IU's recent Bulacan concert and demanded VIP treatment.

According to Rabiya, they paid P12,000 for each ticket "just like the read of them."

"We worked very hard to to afford the tickets and never demanded for VIP treatment," the Kapuso actress continued, as she commended the concert's ushers for helping them locate their seats.

Rabiya made the clarification by writing over a screengrab of a Facebook post from the fan page, Hyein's modeling agency, that was apologizing to Rabiya and Jeric for starting the allegations.

In her follow-up post, the Miss Universe Philippines 2019 said the admin of the fan page had already apologized to them and "took responsibility for saying she doesn't know the usher and made the post out of hearsay."

"Again, we paid for our tickets," Rabiya emphasized.

She shared how difficult it was to obtain the tickets, even experiencing getting scammed the first time they tried buying tickets for the concert.

"Just like the rest of you, we had a hard time looking for available tickets," Rabiya said.

"Contrary to what most of you think. Walang artista-artista sa paghahanap," she added.

Rabiya ended her clarification series on a serious note.

"While others are so quick to have assumptions without getting their facts right shows how people believe what they see online. Not everything you read is true. Not everything you see is real. Not everything you hear should be posted online at the expense of other people," she said, adding there are "laws to protect the innocent and punish those who are guilty."

Rabiya made sure to emphasize how people saw them behave at past events nad shows including Coldplayand Ed Sheeran. "Never kami nagpa-vip-bip sa mga concert," she said.

IU brought her H.E.R.E.H. show to the Philippines last June 1. At the show, Patrick Garcia's daughter Michelle performed as a backup dancer of the South Korean superstar.
