Stell of SB19 wows with covers of classic ballads
Stell most definitely has a heavenly voice!
On Instagram, the P-Pop King wowed fans with several videos of himself covering classic ballads in a stripped down manner that really highlighted his incredible voice. Stell was presumably in his living room, dim with mood lighting, making his videos truly such a vibe.
Among the songs he sung were Rey Valera’s “Walang Kapalit,” and APO Hiking Society’s “Yakap sa Dilim" and "Best Part" by Daniel Caesar and H.E.R.
Impressed with Stell’s smooth vocals and the way he conveyed the songs’ emotions, A’TIN as well as fellow celebs like Julie Anne San Jose, Kaye Abad, Shaira Luna, and Ken Chan peppered the comment section of his reels with adoring messages.
A coach in the upcoming season of “The Voice Kids” on GMA-7, Stell was previously a judge on “The Voice Generations” where his group Vocalmyx was declared the winner.
SB19 released their latest single “Moonlight” in May, with a music video directed by member Justin De Dios. The choreography was done by Jay Roncesvalles, who was also behind the group's viral "GENTO" dance steps.
The artists had back-to-back concerts in May at the Smart Araneta Coliseum to wrap up their PAGTATAG! World Tour.
SB19 was announced nominees for Favorite Asian Act in Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2024.
The group is releasing a documentary film this August, all about their “PAGTATAG!” era.
