Pokwang’s daughter Malia gave her a handmade card just in time for Father’s Day.

The Kapuso actress and comedienne shared a video of her six-year-old handing her the card. Malia made the card herself, and featured a heartfelt drawing of her and her mom.

“Wow, early Father’s Day greeting card from my sweetheart,” Pokwang said in her caption.

“Hindi ko na siya tinanong bakit niya ako ginawan ng card hahahhaha alam na ng bata matalino 'yan,” the single mom added.

Malia is Pokwang’s daughter with her ex-partner Lee O’Brian.

Pokwang and Lee split in 2021. In 2022, the comedienne defended Lee against third party rumors and said they were “okay na okay kasi maganda iyong pagkakatapos.”

However, Pokwang said in a 2023 interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” that she had to lie because she was hoping they could perhaps save their relationship.

Pokwang filed a deportation case against Lee last June. Among the actress’ complaints against him are financial abuse, intimidation, and abandonment of Malia. Pokwang won the case in December.

Despite this, Pokwang still allows Malia to see and bond with her father.
