Rosé of BLACKPINK has reportedly signed with The Black Label for her solo activities.

Citing a statement from the label, Korean news outlets on Tuesday reported that Rosé signed a management contract with producer and company co-founder Teddy "based on their strong trust in each other."

"Currently, Rosé is preparing to meet global fans with new music, and she will work with global record labels around the world in the future."

The Black Label is an associate company of YG Entertainment founded in 2015 by YG producer Teddy and Kush.

Fellow BLACKPINK members Lisa, Jennie, and Jisoo earlier launched their own labels for their solo activities: Lisa with Lloud, Jennie with Odd Atelier, and Jisoo with Blissoo.

In December 2023, BLACKPINK members renewed their contracts for group activities with YG Entertainment.

In a follow-up announcement, the agency said that Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé won't be renewing their contracts for individual activities. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
