BINI to perform at KCON LA 2024
The all-female group BINI will perform at the upcoming KCON LA event in Los Angeles U.S.A. later this month.
Established in 2012, KCON is a music and pop culture festival that gathers K-pop artists and their supporters from around the world.
The venues for the KCON LA 2024 are the Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles Convention Center, and Gilbert Lindsay Plaza.
The Pinoy group behind the hit songs "Pantropiko" and "Salamin, Salamin" is scheduled to grace the stage during the "M Countdown" pre-show on July 27.
BINI's participation was announced on the X account of KCON USA on Sunday, July 14, 2023.
BINI's GROWING FAME
Formed in 2019, BINI—lifted from the word "binibini" —is composed of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena.
The group—managed by Star Magic, the talent arm of ABS-CB — is part of the burgeoning Pinoy pop, or P-pop, movement that is gaining popularity among Filipino music lovers.

BINI's popularity soared in 2023, propelled by its infectious hit single "Pantropiko," which seamlessly blends Latin and Caribbean musical styles.

Just some of the group's accolades include being the first Filipino pop group to achieve the highest number of monthly listeners on Spotify and topping the Billboard Philippine Songs chart.
