BINI makes P-Pop history with KCON LA 2024 performance
In a groundbreaking achievement, "Nation's girl group" BINI—composed of Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, and Sheena—etched their name in OPM history by becoming the first P-Pop act to grace the stage at the KCON music festival.
Recognized as the world’s largest K-pop fan and artist festival, KCON serves as a global launchpad for K-pop artists, offering a platform for international exposure and acclaim.
On July 27, 2024 (July 28, Philippine time), BINI captivated the audience at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, with their electrifying performance of their latest single, "Cherry on Top," during the pre-show of the prestigious "M Countdown" stage.

Team Bloom USA, a dedicated fan page for BINI, shared photos of the group’s performance on their Instagram account.
The members were seen in stylish Y2K-inspired outfits, similar to the ones they wore in their song's music video.
BINI MINUS JHOANNA: THE SHOW MUST GO ON
Missing from the photo is Jhoanna, the group's leader, who had to miss this gig due to "unanticipated health issues."
After their performance, the members greeted the crowd, and Aiah took the moment to express how much they miss Jhoanna.
She said, "We're actually an eight-member girl group, but one of our members, our leader Jhoanna, isn't here with us. She's still in the Philippines, but we miss her so much. Jhoanna we miss you!"
BINI GRATEFUL FOR KCON LA INVITATION
Meanwhile, on behalf of the group, Mikha thanked the organizers for the invitation to perform at the music festival and invited the concert-goers to explore their music.
"We hope you guys can support our music by checking out our latest single 'Cherry on Top,'" Mikha told the attendees.
She continued, "And thank you so much KCON LA for inviting us. It's truly an honor to be here in front of everyone."
BINI also became a trending topic on X, garnering over 362,000 posts within 24 hours following their performance. "Sheena" and "Mikha Lim" also became trending topics on the platform.
