Heart Evangelista remains a Kapuso as she renews contract with GMA Network
Heart Evangelista is a Kapuso through and through!
On Monday, the Global Fashion Icon renewed her ties with Sparkle GMA Artist Center through a ceremonial contract signing event held at GMA Network’s Studio 7.
Present at the contract signing were (FROM LEFT): GMA Network Senior VP for Entertainment Group Lilybeth Rasonable; GMA Network President & CEO Gilberto Duavit Jr.; Heart; GMA Network Executive VP & CFO Felipe Yalong; GMA Network Senior VP for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group and CEO of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes; and Heart's manager Gigi Lara.
During the event, Heart turned emotional while expressing how grateful she is to GMA Network and how proud she is to be a Kapuso.
“When I moved to GMA, I didn’t know what to offer, my bosses say that I bring so much life or all the praises that they would say to me, but when they accepted me and gave me one of my biggest contracts, I hadn’t proven anything and I’m very, very grateful,” Heart said.
“Whatever I have, I would like to bring back here [GMA Network] because this is where I feel like I truly began being myself,” she added. "Not just being myself, but they actually gave me wings where I can do whatever I want, so thank you so much to GMA. I am thankful to all of you."
Earlier this month, Heart attended the GMA Gala 2024 with her husband, Senate President Chiz Escudero.
Along with the senator, the Kapuso artist and Senate Spouses Foundation Inc. president also graced the third State of the Nation Address of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos.
Heart most recently starred in the Kapuso series “I Left My Heart in Sorsogon.” She also appeared in the international film “The Wedding Hustler” and the Netflix reality show “Bling Empire.”
