Carla Abellana watches ‘Widow’s War’ in the hospital: ‘Porke’t may sakit ako, ako ginawa niyong killer?’
Carla Abellana could not help but poke fun at the excitement of “Widow’s War.”
Even while sick and confined at Diliman Doctors Hospital, the Kapuso star shared in an Instagram Reel that she watched the crime drama’s latest episode.
She couldn’t help but tell her co-stars, “Porke’t may sakit ako, ako ginawa niyong killer?”
Acting annoyed, she added, “Ganyan kayo ah.”
“Joke lang,” she said later in the video and showed her reactions to the action-packed series.
“Na-ospital lang, ginawa niyo na akong killer?!? Hmph!” She captioned her post.
“Ahehehe, labyu and miss you ol! Ang gagaling niyo pong lahat!” She added.
“Kapag talaga airing ang #WidowsWar nawawala ang lagnat at pains ko.”
The actress also added a prayer for healing for co-star Rita Daniela and their location manager, Ate Vanj.
In the comments section, Bea Alonzo told Carla, “Hahahaha cute mo!”
The latest episode of “Widow’s War” sees the death of Beverly, played by Bianca Manalo. The latest death in the series causes chaos in the Palacios family as they try to find out who the killer is.
"Widows’ War" is a spinoff of the popular GMA-7 murder-mystery series "Royal Blood" and "Widow's Web."
Carla stars alongside Bea Alonzo, Tonton Gutierrez, Jean Garcia, Rita Daniela, Jeric Gonzales, Benjamin Alves, Juancho Triviño, Jackie Lou Blanco, James Graham, and more.
Carla and Bea play former best friends Georgina and Samantha. They both lose their husbands and become sworn enemies as they search for justice for their loved ones.
“Widows’ War” is directed by award-winning filmmaker Zig Dulay and airs weekdays at 8:50 p.m. on GMA Prime.
