Alden Richards, Kathryn Bernardo perform 'Ligaya' by MRLD in 'All-Out Sundays'
Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo just made their fans kilig with their performance of the song "Ligaya" by MRLD in "All-Out Sundays!"
The pair graced the stage of the Kapuso noontime show on Sunday and invited the audience to watch their much-anticipated film "Hello, Love, Again," which will have its theatrical debut on November 13.
During their guesting, Alden talked about what changed in his relationship with Kathyn from the time they filmed the first movie "Hello, Love, Goodbye" back in 2019.
"'Yung first kasi parang medyo hindi ganon pa kami magkakilala ni Kath talaga during the process of making the film. Pero ngayon mas nakilala ko siya. I was able to spend time with her when we were filming, and the relationship and the knowledge of each other deepens talaga," Alden said, adding that he discovered Kathryn's caring side.
"Mas nakilala ko si Kath. Sobrang maalaga siya with everyone and 'yung pagbibigay importance niya to the people around her is I think one of the traits I really look up to pagdating sa kaniya," he added.
When asked what was the most memorable thing Alden gave to her, Kathryn said that the Sparkle actor always brings food on the set.
"Palaging may pagkain. You can never go wrong with food. Not just for me actually but the whole team, sobrang alaga ni Alden and ng buong team din niya," the actress said.
As for their upcoming movie, Alden and Kathryn gave a little teaser on what the audience can expect in the sequel.
"Parang masakit din," they both said.
"Parang picking up where we left off, parang ganon 'yung feel niya. Hindi, pero basically ang dami na ring nangyari in the five years. Kumbaga 'yung film ginawa namin siya in the same time frame," Alden added. "After five years, what happened? What happened kay Joy and Ethan? What happened to them individually? And ano 'yung turn of events?"
"Hello, Love, Again" will continue Joy and Ethan's story five years after the former left Hong Kong for Canada. Tickets for the film are now on sale.
The Filipino movie will also be released in North America, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. It will also be screened at this year's Asian World Film Festival in Los Angeles.
