Ruru Madrid gave a glimpse of the upcoming season of “Lolong,” and it's already filled with action.

In his latest Instagram post, Ruru Madrid showed a photo of a group of masked fighters.

The Primetime Action Hero also shared a video of a scene where he had a physical altercation with Juancho Trivino.

“Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan” takes place four years after the first season, with the titular character, Lolong, now a masked hero helping maintain the peace in their small town.

Ruru has been training in Filipino martial arts for the role.

The show premieres on GMA Prime in January 2025.

The first season of “Lolong” premiered in 2022 and followed Lolong, who forms an unlikely friendship with a giant crocodile named Dakila. The adventure series also tackled themes of family, friendship, and the environment.

More cast members include John Arcilla, Shaira Diaz, Paul Salas, Rochelle Pangilinan, Klea Pineda, Rocco Nacino, Martin Del Rosario, and many more.

During its run in 2022, “Lolong” became the most watched TV show in the Philippines.

Soon after its season finale, Ruru teased that Lolong would be making a comeback.
