Arci admits that she declines to lend money to her friends. In an online event for her latest endorsement, Arci furthered how she gets shy when asking people to pay her back. She is also sensitive about offending anyone when a money scenario arises.

Arci shared, "Ang problem sa akin, pag may nangungutang sa akin, I don’t know how to make singil, kung paano sisingilin. Ako pa yung nahihiya. Ayoko rin kasi maka-offend. And pagdating sa mga money matters, hindi ba ang awkward na parang kayo pa yung nahihiya maningil?"

Arci incidentally is now the newest ambassador of a cash lending app. She said she would refer her friends who need money to the app, instead of lending them money from her pocket.

Arci On Being Smart About Her Money

It is no surprise that Arci has solid money insight. She had to learn some lessons about it the hard way. Last year, Arci made a TikTok video on how her credit card was allegedly stolen while she was on a plane.

Regarding that incident, she opened up during the online event that she lost over half a million pesos due to transactions made on the credit card.

"It’s really unfortunate to be in that situation and you feel so helpless. Kasi I tried reaching out to the bank pero they couldn’t help me. They said that it’s my responsibility because it’s my card. And I approached them twice, thrice pa nga. So I even called people that are close to me na alam ko who can also help me out na baka may mga kilala dun sa bank. Kasi that’s not easy money naman 'di ba? I worked hard for what I have and nung sinabi nila na hindi talaga puwede, it really broke my heart."
