TCL air-conditioners conquer inverter, split AC markets

DATA from TRS shows that TCL air-conditioner (AC) is rising to the top in the Philippine AC market for several consecutive quarters in the three subcategories of inverter, split and large cooling capacity (over 2 horsepower or HP) ACs.

Data shows that from January to May this year, TCL AC has ranked first in the Philippine market with a share of 21.2 percent.

From January to May of this year, TCL ACs have maintained a commanding overall market share of 21.2 percent. The brand's success is further underscored by its specific category performances in the first quarter of 2024: 22.4-percent market share in inverter ACs, 23.4 percent in split ACs, and an impressive 46.5 percent in large cooling capacity ACs (over 2 HP).

According to the overseas business head of TCL air-conditioner, the strong performance in the Philippine market is an epitome of TCL's remarkable breakthroughs in overseas AC markets.

Under the guidance of the belt and road and other state policies, TCL Air-conditioner has delved into emerging markets in Asia, Africa, Latin America and more with a growth of 3 percent in the first quarter of this year, bringing a year-on-year growth of over 30 percent to TCL air-conditioner in overseas markets.
