"Last year was a big year for me, coming into the season, I've worn a particular brand of shoe my whole career and I've gotten injured," Randle revealed on his switch.

"I was coming off an ankle injury heading into the season, and I said I'm gonna switch shoe brands, and when I've worn the shoe, I'd say I made the right decision," he added.

"It's the best, most comfortable basketball shoe I've ever worn. It fits my style of play and kept me healthy on the court."

Aside from their showcase, both Randle and Mann treated fifteen Skecher fans with a meet and greet, bringing smiles to basketball fans from all generations as they signed items such as shoes and basketballs.

The pair expressed their joy and appreciation for all of the Knicks, Clippers, and basketball fans that came out to see them represent the Skecher-brand which made its basketball debut in the NBA during the 2023-2024 season.

"I've been eating a lot on this trip, and I'm excited to eat a lot more. My favorite part of the PH, so far, I think is the food," Mann said.

The tenement experience

Like all the basketball stars who’ve gone and visited the country, their arrival in the Philippines wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the much-renowned Tenement Court in Taguig City.

The Tenement Court has already received stars like LeBron James, Paul George and Jordan Clarkson and took the world’s attention following a Kobe Bryant tribute following the Los Angeles Laker great’s untimely demise.

Now both Randle and Mann will experience what true Philippine basketball culture is like.

"Excited about the Tenement, seen alot of videos on that, and I've also heard it from Jordan Clarkson, he's told me how amazing the Philippines basketball culture is."

Next season, the three-time All-Star Randle will look to lead the New York Knicks into a deep playoff run in their upcoming season with the addition of Mikal Bridges.

Meanwhile, Mann will want to bolster an LA Clippers rotation featuring All-Stars Kawhi Leonard and James Harden following the departure of Paul George.
