(SPOT.ph) It’s extremely rare to find someone who doesn’t like any Studio Ghibli film—who wouldn’t love the fluffy Totoro, relate to the whimsical Chihiro, or fall head over heels for the charismatic Howl? And because you are here, dear reader, it’s safe to say you are one of us Ghibli fans who have always wanted to know what it's like living in their fictional worlds. The closest thing has actually existed for the past decade or so through the exhibit The World of Studio Ghibli.

This Ghibli wonderland has moved from country to country, from Japan to South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and last year, it opened in Bangkok. And soon, it's coming to the visa-free country of Singapore.

Studio Ghibli exhibit to open at ArtScience Museum in Singapore

For the first time in forever (oops, wrong movie reference?), a Studio Ghibli exhibit is opening in Singapore. The World of Studio Ghibli in Singapore will be a large-scale exhibition that will feature scenes and characters from 11 iconic Studio Ghibli films including My Neighbour Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, and even its most recent film, The Boy and the Heronthat—fun fact—won an Oscar for Best Animated Feature.

If you're looking to catch this exhibit in SG, get your cameras ready for setups based on iconic Ghibli moments such as the rain scene at the bus stop with Satsuki carrying Mei on her back and Totoro using a gigantic leaf as an umbrella; or grabbing a seat next to No-Face on the Spirited Away train, and more.
