LTO Offices in Metro Manila Are Now Open on Saturdays

(SPOT.ph) No time to fit government transactions into your weekday schedule? That’s a struggle we know all too well.

The good news is that starting August 31, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) district and extension offices in Metro Manila are extending their operations to include Saturdays, with offices open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

With increasing demand for driver’s licenses, license renewals, and vehicle registration—not to mention the LTO's efforts to tackle its long-standing backlog since 2023—the additional Saturday operations are expected to make the application and registration process faster.

LTO-NCR offices open on Saturday

The following LTO district and extension offices, as well as licensing centers across Metro Manila, will now be open from Monday to Saturday.

• Makati District Office
• Malabon District Office
• Marikina District Office
• Manila East District Office
• Manila North District Office
• Manila South District Office
• Manila West District Office
• Mandaluyong District Office
• Muntinlupa District Office
• Novaliches District Office
• Navotas Extension Office
• Parañaque District Office
• Pasay District Office
• Pasig District Office
• Pateros Extension Office
• Quezon City District Office
• Quezon City Extension Office
• San Juan District Office
• Taguig Extension Office
• Valenzuela District Office

Meanwhile, Driver’s License Renewal Offices (DLROs) will only remain open from Mondays to Fridays. These DLROs are part of LTO's efforts to decentralize services to more convenient locations like malls without having motorists go to the LTO offices to renew licenses.

However, it's still advisable to book an appointment online via the LTO's Land Transportation Management System (LTMS) portal to save time.
