LOOK: Disney Opens First Store in the PH

(SPOT.ph)In April this year, news of an official Disneystore in Manilashook everyone to the core. We caught sight of the board-up in SM Mall of Asia—and boy, we bet you were wishing upon a star that it would open soon. And finally, after months of waiting, our fairy godmothers finally came through. The Disney Store Manila is officially opening to the public onSeptember 27.SPOT.ph got a first look at the new store, and we're sharing the magic with you.

Here's a glimpse of the first-ever, official Disney store in the Philippines.

It'll only really just be a car ride away, at the SM Mall of Asia's North Main Mall.If you want an exact location, it's just beside the National Bookstore Superbranch and in front of Pizza Hut.

It's no Disneyland, of course, but you'll get the same giddy feeling once you step inside the store. None other than Mickey Mouseand Minnie Mousewill welcome you inside. Ariel, too, will be there up front to bring you to a part of [her] world. Pun intended.

Once you're inside, you'll get overwhelmed with a lot of Disney stuff. It's the good kind of overwhelming, we assure you. You'll feel like a child again pointing at the characters you've loved growing up in all forms of merchandise—from toys, collectibles, apparel, and homeware, among others.

As expected, the store is full of authentic Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars merchandise for all ages. We even spotted the must-have Mickey Mouse ear headbands in various designs (for P1,449) and a lot ofprincess costumes and onesies for your kids should they want to dress up for Halloween (or really, any other day of the week). If you're a collector, there are Lego pieces and Funko pops of your favorite characters up for grabs, too. It'll also be impossible not to grab the cutest plush toys in different sizes on display, so pack a lot of self-control if you're on a budget.

Just in time for the upcoming holidays, say, Halloween and Christmas—the store is also packed with seasonal collections, whether it's for home decor or gifts for your loved ones. Sweaters, plushies, decor, and ornaments with different characters should you want them hanging on your Christmas trees this year (or the next years after that).

But that's not all. Some of your favorite characters from the Disney franchises will be there to say hello.

There's Belle, in her beautiful yellow gown in full display, surrounded by books inside her castle. Darth Vaderis there, too, with some of his stormtroopers following suit. You just have to be careful of his glowing red lightsaber while shopping, though. Spiderman is also swinging through the store while Elsa is letting go of her ice powers in one spot. All the spots where these statues are are surrounded by their merchandise, so keep an eye out if you're a fan.

There's also a display of figurines and action figures where the Lego sets are, so If you want to do some sightseeing. Overall, a visit to the Disney store is a magical experience for those who love Disney, a.k.a everyone. A bag with merch is guaranteed, whether it's for yourself or your loved ones this Christmas.

Where to find the first Disney store in the PH?

The first-ever Disney store in the Philippines (and in Southeast Asia) is located on the first level of the North Main Mall of SM Mall of Asia, Seaside Boulevard, Pasay City. Its doors open to the public tomorrow, September 27, at 10 a.m.
