Card services of the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) will be unavailable for part of the weekend, as the Ayala-led lender on Thursday announced a scheduled systems maintenance on select hours from Saturday to Monday.

In an advisory, BPI said card services will be unavailable from 11 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024, until 10 a.m. on Sunday, June 23, 2024 and from 11 p.m. on Sunday to 8 a.m. on Monday, June 24, 2024.

“You will not be able to use your BPI Debit Cards, BPI Credit Cards, and BPI Prepaid Cards for in-store and online purchases during our systems maintenance activity,” the advisory read.

It noted, however, that BPI Credit and Prepaid Cards will be available on June 23 and 24 starting at 6 a.m.

BPI reported a P15.3-billion net income in the first three months of the year, reflecting a 25.8% increase from the previous year as total revenues climbed by 24.6% to P39.5 billion. Net interest income rose by 18.5% to P29.8 billion, while non-interest income rose by 28.1% to P9.7 billion.

Shares in the company were last traded at P115.80 apiece, up by P0.90 or 0.78% from Wednesday’s finish of P114.90 per share.— RF, GMA Integrated News
