Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has announced a 30% discount on select parts that may have been damaged during Carina and the enhanced Habagat.

The "Honda Helps" initiative was announced earlier this week.

"A 30% discount will be offered for select spare parts for units damaged by the typhoon. This offer is available at all Honda Cars Dealers that receive inundated units until September 30, 2024.

HCPI said the parts that are part of the program are:

  • ECU
  • Cooling Fan Motor
  • Throttle Body
  • SRS Unit
  • Alternator
  • Airbag Module
  • Starter Motor
  • Cable Reel
  • Radiator Fan Motor
  • Fuse Box (MICU)
  • ??Accelerator Pedal
  • ??Meter Assembly
  • ??EPS
  • ??Heater Control
  • ??Seatbelt Pre-tensioner

“We would like to offer our sympathies to all Filipinos affected by super typhoon Carina. ‘Honda Helps’ is our way of supporting our loyal customers in bouncing back from this calamity and get them back on the road as soon possible. We sincerely hope everyone stays safe at this time”, says Rie Miyake, president of HCPI.

On Wednesday, the Metro Manila Council (MMC) declared a state of calamity in NCRamid the massive flooding caused by the southwest monsoon or Habagat and Super Typhoon Carina.

A state of calamity has also been declared Bataan, Bulacan, Batangas and Cavite.
