Since its humble beginnings in 2004 as a small bakery in Nueva Ecija, originally known as Tunying's Kape, Tinapay, at Iba Pa, Ka Tunying's has grown into a beloved establishment. The business took a major step forward in 2015 with the opening of its first branch on Visayas Avenue in Metro Manila. As the brand's popularity grew, Ka Tunying's expanded in 2016 with kiosks and pop-up stores in airport terminals, making its flavors accessible to travelers.

In 2018, Ka Tunying's evolved from a cafe into a full-service restaurant, expanding its menu and offering a broader range of dining experiences. The following year, the brand launched its "Panlasang Makabayan" tagline, celebrating the rich and diverse flavors of Filipino cuisine. The expansion continued with a branch in Tagaytay, where their famous bulalo became a favorite among locals and tourists alike.

The Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 prompted Ka Tunying's to adapt by embracing online sales through platforms like GrabFood, Foodpanda, Shopee, and Lazada, and introducing a reseller program focusing on its Bakehouse products. The brand also ventured into retail, ensuring that its offerings remained available to customers across various outlets.

In 2021, the company introduced its official mascot, Tonton, who quickly became a beloved figure among families. The following year, Ka Tunying's added catering services, further extending its ability to serve families during special occasions.

As of 2024, Ka Tunying's continues to grow, establishing partnerships with Uncle John's, Dali, Victory Liner, Genesis Bus Liner, and small coffee shops nationwide. Through it all, their commitment to family remains at the core of their mission.
