MANILA, Philippines — Alas Pilipinas looks to salvage another bronze medal finish at the Men's SEA V. League second leg in Indonesia.

A bronze medalist in the Manila leg last week, Alas could only place third at best after succumbing to first leg champ Thailand, 18-25, 21-25, 19-25, on Saturday evening, August 24.

Alas dropped to 0-2 in the 4-team tourney with its first loss coming at the hands of first leg silver medalist Indonesia, 24-26, 11-25, 15-25.

The Philippines faces Vietnam, the only country it defeated in the first leg, for the de facto 'battle for bronze' match on Sunday.

The Filipinos and the Vietnamese are both 0-2 while Thailand and Indonesia are both 2-0, their match on Sunday determines which team gets to claim the gold.
