The most amazing theme parks in Dubai
As a city of extravagance, Dubai is obviously no slouch when it comes to theme parks. These are the most incredible parks the emirate has to offer.
People go to Dubai to be amazed and to experience thrills, and the emirate is ready to answer this need. The capital of the emirate has a spectacular theme park offering, each more remarkable than the last (for such a small surface area!).
5 spectacular theme parks in Dubai
IMG Worlds of Adventure
This is the largest indoor theme park in the world, and certainly the most impressive too. With four themed zones, you're sure to find something to suit you and your children at IMG Worlds of Adventure.
In the Marvel area, you can meet up with your favourite heroes (Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America and the Hulk), as well as the Cartoon Network area with characters from The Powerpuff Girls and Ben10. In the zone dedicated to dinosaurs, you can take a leap back in time to the Jurassic period and enjoy the Velociraptor attraction and its roller coaster - the biggest and fastest ride in Dubai. In total, there are more than 20 rides and attractions for you to enjoy in a fully air-conditioned area, of course.
Motiongate Dubai
Experience the magic of Hollywood at the Motiongate Dubai theme park, with its 40 rides inspired by the most famous action and animation films, including Ghostbusters, Shrek, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda and The Hunger Games.
Gigantic roller coasters with thrills aplenty await you on their many loops, but also the Smurfs Village for some calmer fun with the younger children.
Legoland Dubai
Ideal for families with young children, the Legoland theme park has more than 40 rides and attractions, divided into six zones, both indoor and outdoor, to entertain young and old alike. From building and driving a car, a tower to climb with only your arms, a toy train and the first thrill ride for the little ones, a visit to the factory to understand the manufacturing process behind these famous little bricks and a water park to cool off while having fun: your children won't want to leave Legoland!
Aquaventure Waterpark
With its 17-hectare surface area and some thirty attractions, Dubai's largest waterpark is bound to blow your mind! With thrilling slides and fast-flowing rivers for the older children, tunnels and play structures in the area reserved for the little ones, Aquaventure Waterpark has something for everyone, even a lagoon bordered by a kilometre-long sandy beach with an incredible view over Dubai.
Wild Wadi Waterpark
Giant waterslide, aquatic rollercoaster, wave pool, rapids to ride on a buoy, as well as lagoons, rivers and small slides: the whole family can have a great day out trying out the 30 attractions at Wild Wadi Waterpark, the first water park to be built in Dubai.
You can even try your hand at surfing on the artificial wave at Wipeout and Riptide, where you can glide along just like in the ocean.
