Pancakes Pancakes are thin around flat cakes made from a starch based batter which is usually mixed with eggs and milk. Pour 1/4 cup of butter and cook for two minutes until bubbles appear. Flip the pancake and cook the other side for one to two minutes. When cooked, transferred to a plate, stack several pancakes together, then topped with butter and Maple syrup. Fun fact, a Japanese pet Bunny by the name of Oolong became a viral Internet sensation in 2010 when his owner posted a picture of him balancing pancakes on his head.
