National Azulejo Museum

This museum is dedicated to azulejo: the traditional Portuguese art of painted ceramics. Located in a former convent and founded in 1509, it offers a historical tour tracing the development of this art form from the 15^th century to the present day.

Calouste Gulbenkian Museum

This is one of Lisbon's most famous museums. The Calouste-Gulbenkian Museum houses one of the largest private art collections in the world. The collection is that of Calouste-Gulbenkian, an Armenian-British philanthropist.
