Putin ridicules Trump

Despite warning from future US president, Vladimir Putin has continued to escalate attacks on Ukraine.

The Russian military attacked Ukrainian territory with missiles, aerial bombs and more than 100 suicide drones in the early hours of the beginning of this week. The escalation of tensions comes despite a call to the Kremlin not to escalate the conflict, reportedly made by telephone by US President-elect Donald Trump.

According to The Washington Post, Mr. Trump urged Russian President, Vladimir Putin, not to escalate the war in Ukraine, recalling that American troops are stationed in Europe.

But according to experts, on the contrary, Putin is stepping up his bombing, and Russia could launch a new major attack on Ukrainian electricity infrastructure before the winter season in order to derail Kiev's efforts to restore the generation capacity lost during Russian bombings on the grid since March.

This assumption stems from the fact that Russia has been launching attacks on Ukrainian territory almost exclusively using drones for weeks.
