Kofi Kingston: 'Greatest ever WWE tag team' transformed from rejects to record breakers

We came out and just told everyone to be the best version of themselves, that you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it. And people blew us out of the building and told us that we sucked. So I'm like, what? Like what is going on in this jaded world that we live in where you tell people to be the best that they can be and they say, no, we don't want to hear that, man, you guys suck. It's like, whoa, like what's going on? But to take a step back, it's like when you're AWWE superstar, all you want to do is to make the people feel, you want to make them react. You want to give them something that they can like latch onto. And once they do, you can take that and turn it into whatever you want. And that's really what we did. And we became so good at being bad guys that the people started loving us again. So it's been a roller coaster of emotions for sure. And, and, and here we are 10 years later. It's so crazy to think about ten years, you know what I mean? A decade of being on TV consistently in a significant role, having great matches, being able to motivate people, put smiles on faces and still have it be fun and entertaining. So yeah, man, it's a crazy milestone to to have and I really can't wait for the celebration.
